Avoiding Duplicate Content is very important. Duplicate content is generally considered to be frowned on by the major search engines and although no-one will confirm this to be true it is best not to take risks. This post is in response to a question from a subscriber. The question was raised in relation to duplicate content and there is an easy solution.
The Hard Way
The hard way is to write every article yourself, an original piece of information that you have written. There are merits to this but when you consider that most serious internet marketers who have an active article marketing strategy will write at least 6 articles a day, that is a tough ask. These Internet Markers are serious about getting their website to rank highly in search engines and have the time to write 6 or more original content articles a day.
The Easy Way
There is an easier way to write multiple articles without concerns about duplicate content. It is used by many Internet Marketers who are trying to build enough income to make it their full time living but do not have the time to write a number of original articles everyday.
Use of Spin Commands.
Spin commands are reasonably easy. The idea is to include a number of options to your text content and use spin commands. This will automatically include different options for your text.
For example:
[spin] The blue sky|The sky is blue|The sky was a shade of deep blue|The sky was the perfect shade of blue[/spin].
This would give these different structures of this sentence essentially giving four different options that would be randomly chosen by Free Traffic System giving four different sentences. You will notice that each sentence is divided by a straight up and down line.
- The blue sky.
- The sky is blue.
- The sky was a shade of deep blue.
- The sky was the perfect shade of blue.
So if you rewrite all sentences with 3-4 options there would be a large number of text possibilities therefore reducing the likelihood of duplicate content.
Can it be used for single words?
This method can also be added in for different words within a sentence.
For example:
[spin]blue|deep blue|pale blue|rich blue[/spin]
It Looks too Time Consuming.
It does take a while to get used to adding this [spin] [/spin] to your articles and in essence you are re-writing you original article 3-4 times which can be time consuming. However, there is an easier way.

The power of a well written online article can give lasting benefit to your website promotion. Online articles submitted to article directories can continue to promote your website for years. A friend commented recently that they still get free traffic from articles they had written three years before.
Many people are put off by article writing because they have little experience in their adult life writing for an audience. Article writing is a learned skill and some article directories provide free training on how to write online articles.
